A Day At The Races - FAQ's


East Alabama Motor Speedway wants your family's visit to the speedway to be a fun entertaining experience. We offer so much more than just racing, so make sure to check our schedule page for a complete listing of the upcoming events. Below you will find information that will make your trip easier and insure your visit to East Alabama Motor Speedway will be an enjoyable one!


Where Can I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on race night. The ticket office opens at 6:00pm eastern time for weekly events.

How can I order tickets to the major events (Alabama State Championships & National 100)?
There are two options - mail or phone. By mail, print the ticket order form complete the requested information and mail with your payment. By phone, call the track office at 334-297-2594 you will need your VISA or MasterCard to purchase tickets by phone. Click here for ticket order form.

What About Spectator Parking?
East Alabama Motor Speedway has free spectator parking in lighted grass parking lots. We also have ample space for handicap parking you must have a handicap parking pass issued by your state displayed in your window to access this parking area.

What Are The Track Seating Options?
The grandstands are concrete. We recommend cushions (available at the souvenir stand), blankets & stadium seats. High back chairs are allowed on the top 3 rows only. Please be courteous to those around you.

Is Indoor Seating Available?
Yes, indoor climate controlled box seating is available. Call the speedway office 334-297-2594 for availability.

What Accommodations Do You Have For Handicap?
Handicap parking is located adjacent to the grandstand ticket office. Plentiful wheelchair access on the top of the concrete grandstands. Handicap restroom facilities are located in turn one restrooms.

What About Restrooms?
East Alabama Motor Speedway offers 2 sets of restrooms. One set is located to the right as you enter the speedway. The other set is located to the right of the front gate towards turn one. Handicap restroom facilities are located in the turn one restrooms.

Can I Bring A Cooler?
Yes, coolers are allowed. Remember we have full concessions available at the speedway. Coolers may be made of any material, as long as they are 14x14x14 or smaller. No glass containers of any type permitted. All coolers will be inspected for compliance. Cooler size will be strictly enforced.

Is Alcoholic Beverages Allowed?
Yes, your welcome to bring alcoholic beverages (no glass bottles) and beer is also available at the concession stand. Race fans that consume alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly. All alcohol sales will require a picture ID as proof of age. You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. East Alabama Motor Speedway may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person for any reason, including without limitations persons appearing intoxicated. East Alabama Motor Speedway may report any persons in violation of the alcohol policy to the Sheriff if they believe you are acting contrary to the law or in a manner which may endanger yourself, others or their property.

What Types Of Food Do You Sell At The Track?
Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Grilled Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Chicken Finger Basket, Chicken Sandwiches, Barbeque Sandwiches, Corn Dogs, French Fries, Cheese Sticks, Corn Nuggets, Cheese Nachos, Popcorn, Dill Pickles, Pepsi Products, Sweet Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Beer & Bottled Water. The concession stand is located to the left as you enter the speedway. East Alabama Motor Speedway is noted for outstanding food with affordable prices for the entire family.

What Types Of Souvenirs Do You Sell At The Track?
The souvenir stand is located to the right as you enter the speedway. Here you can find all of your latest and greatest East Alabama Motor Speedway souvenirs and apparel. We offer shirts, hats, seat cushions, ear plugs, checkered flags, kid's toys, candy, chewing gum, drinks and much more.

What Should I Wear?
Casual attire is recommended at the speedway. Just remember, you are out in the outdoors, so dress accordingly for the elements, don't forget the sunscreen on sunny days and a jacket or blanket on cool nights. We also require you to wear a shirt and shoes at all times while at the speedway. The races can get loud; ear plugs are available in the souvenir stand.

Are Pets Allowed?
Pets are not allowed in the grandstand area. Pets are allowed in the parking and pit areas but must be on a leash at all times.

Is Smoking Allowed?
Smoking is allowed in the open areas. Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings anywhere. This includes all bathrooms and concession areas. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I Purchase A Pit Pass?
Yes, anyone is welcome to purchase a pit pass (increased cost from a grandstand admission ticket) and visit the pit area. Pit passes must be purchased in person. Persons under the age of 18 must complete minor release form with parent/guardian present. All persons purchasing a pit pass must sign insurance waiver.

How Can I Get Drivers' Autographs?
After each and every event at the speedway, the pit area is always open. Use this time to go down and meet the drivers and the stars of East Alabama Motor Speedway. Bring down your cameras, pictures and sharpies and get to know these guys and gals that put on our show. East Alabama Motor Speedway recommends that you pick up a souvenir checkered flag at the souvenir stand and take it with you to the pit area following the races. Ask the drivers to sign the white squares of the flag. Great souvenir item!!!

Is There Group Rates Or Specials?
Do you want to bring your kids to the track for a birthday party? Have a big group of people that want to have a great time on a Saturday night? East Alabama Motor Speedway has group rates for 20 or more people. Call the speedway office today 334-297-2594 to purchase tickets for your group.

Can I Camp At The Track?
East Alabama Motor Speedway offers free camping during race events only. We do not have hookups or water. Small fires are allowed as long as they stay contained.

Behavior Policy: We want all fans to have the best experience possible. To ensure that all fans have a pleasant experience, each guest should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Be a good sport. The East Alabama Motor Speedway security personnel will respond to complaints of misconduct. Fans who fail to comply with East Alabama Motor Speedway policy after being warned will be subject to ejection or arrest.
