General
Rules For All Classes: Fire
suit mandatory, Fire extinguisher mounted in reach of driver mandatory,
RaceCeiver mandatory. No driver/crew radio communications. Gas only all
divisions except Modified. No Mirrors. All weights are before race with
driver. 1 lb. per lap burn off for heat, consy & feature races. All cars
are subject to inspection at any time. A weight penalty may be added for minor
deviation in class rules, major deviations will result in car being placed in
class that it is best suited for. These rules are intended for fair competition
in all divisions. Cars will be placed in division that they are best suited to
race in. Tech officials decisions are final. EAMS scales are the official
scales of the weekend, it is the driver's responsibility to make sure they meet
the minimum weight, not officials responsibility to make concessions. EAMS is
not responsible for misinterpretation of the rules if your not sure ask. All Classes: No chemical alteration of the tread carcass
or tread compound. No tire softeners, no conditioners, no altering of tires
with any natural or un-natural chemicals, no hazardous or un-hazardous
components or chemicals which alter the factory set baseline settings of a
given tire. All sidewall markings must visible at all times. No buffing or
removing of the compound markings.

Super Late Model:
Open engine unlimited cubic
inch 2300lb 8" spoiler, Unlimited cubic inch with
steel block 2250lb 8" spoiler, 362 cubic inch all steel, SAS/SUPR
Spec engine, GM CT525 (factory sealed) or GM Crate engine 2150lb & 12"
spoiler allowed. Engine placement 25 1/2" from center of ball
joint to engine mid-plate, No electronic traction control, Gas only, SAS, WoO
body rules. Tire rule any Hoosier
1300 or harder, any American Racer 44 or harder, all tires will be checked with durometer and tire sniffer.
No chemical alteration of the tread
carcass or tread compound. No tire softeners, no conditioners, no altering of
tires with any natural or un-natural chemicals, no hazardous or un-hazardous
components or chemicals which alter the factory set baseline settings of a
given tire. All sidewall markings must visible at all times. No buffing or

Late Model Sportsman: 362ci
small block maximum, stock bore & stroke combination only, flat top pistons
only, flat tappet camshaft only, lifters must be OEM diameter to make of
engine, ex. Chevy .842", 23 degree Cast iron heads only, Vortec, Bowtie,
Vortec/Bowtie (25534351C), Dart Iron Eagle 180 heads ok, NLMS Aluminum Spec
Head ok. Any other steel 23 degree head add 50lbs, No ported or polished heads,
any aluminum intake, dry sumps add 50lbs, external
oil pumps add 25lbs, Holley 750, 3310 or EAMS Spec
Carburetor Maximum, No porting or polishing of carburetor. All carburetors
checked with go-no-go gauges. May run GM crate engine at 2300lb, All crate engines must meet same engine rules as Crate
engine division. Engine placement 25 1/2" from center of ball joint to
engine mid-plate. SAS, WoO, NLMS body rules. Open tires, No chemical treating of tires allowed, weight
2400lbs.
Crate Late Model: GM
Crate Engine P/N 88958602 - 2200lb / P/N 88958604 - 2300lb. Engines must meet
GM factory specs and rebuilt engines must meet GM rebuild specs. Must
have all GM parts. Assemble height
on GM 604 engine can be no less than the GM Specs of 1.780". Must have GM
604 stock valve springs. All engines must have factory GM
sealing bolts, Crate Racin USA, or Fastrak seals (No black market seals).
Any other sealing systems call for approval. Any motor failing inspection
will be confiscated. 1" carburetor spacer max, 602 engine may run
2" carburetor spacer maximum. No Tri-Y headers, Engine placement 7"
from center of ball joint to #1 spark plug. SAS, WoO body rules, 12" rear
spoiler ok. Tire rule Hoosier Crate Racin USA or Crate D21, Crate Racin
USA or Crate D55, D70, 2700. OK to groove & sipe tires. Tires must have all
numbers and name on the tire, No grinding off of numbers or compound, any tire
that has been altered will be illegal and confiscated. No chemical treating of tires allowed.
Super Street: 362ci
small block limit, stock bore and stroke .060 overbore permitted, flat top
pistons, any flat tappet camshaft, lifters must be stock OEM diameter to make
of engine (ex. Chevy .842"), factory cast iron heads only, World Products
4360 & 4361 OK, Engine Quest #CH350C &
#CH350F, Racing Head Service Vortec
replacement #12402, #12407 or #12410 allowed, No aluminum heads or
blocks. Bowtie Phase II & III heads add
50lbs maximum 2.02" intake and 1.65" exhaust valves. Any aftermarket, Vortec/Bowtie or angle plug heads add
150lbs. No porting or polishing heads, intake or carburetor, Chevy 350
valve size 2.02 & 1.65. Stud mounted rockers only, no shaft or pedestal
mounted rockers, No dry sump oil system, 750cfm Holley, 3310 Holley, or
EAMS spec carburetor no porting or polishing, crate engines may run unported or
polished 650 Holley or EAMS 650 Crate Spec carburetor. All carburetors checked
with go-no-go gauges, No Tri-Y headers, engine
location 1" behind weight jack bolt to #1 spark plug, (Ford 3" from
weight jack bolt to #1), WoO, S.A.S, NLMS Body rules, 8" rear spoiler.
Tire rule any Hoosier 1350/D21 or harder, any American Racer 48 or harder, No
chemical treating of tires allowed, 3 link or 4 bar rear suspension ok. Stock front clip car:
Built engine 2750lbs, GM 604 crate engine 2650lbs, GM 602 crate engine 2500lbs.
Stock front clip car with crate engine may run 10" rear spoiler with
10" tall spoiler supports. Full Jig car may compete with 602 crate
engine only 2600lbs, 650 Holley carburetor no porting or polishing or EAMS 650 Crate Spec
carburetor, 1" carburetor spacer allowed. 8" rear spoiler. Crate
engines must have factory GM sealing bolts, EAMS, Crate Racin USA, or Fastrak
seals.
Hobby: 362ci small block limit, stock bore .060 overbore
permitted, 3.48 stroke, flat top pistons, hydraulic camshaft & lifters must
be OEM diameter to make of engine, ex. Chevy .842", Factory
production cast iron heads. Vortec 062, 906, Engine
Quest #CH350C & #CH350F, Racing Head Service Vortec replacement #12402 & #12407, World Products heads #4360 or
#4361 are the only heads allowed. Vortec 062 cylinder heads permitted with
following specs: 175cc intake runner volume max, 64cc maximum exhaust runner
volume. NO bowtie, dart or angle plug heads. Ford may run GT40 cast iron head
no SVO heads. No porting or polishing heads, intake
or carburetor, no factory performance or aftermarket heads except the ones
specified here, Chevy 350 valve size 1.94 & 1.5, any bigger valves add
50lbs, Stainless steel valves ok, undercut valve stems ok, no titanium valves,
steel valve retainers & keepers only. Stud mounted roller rocker arms, any
cast iron or aluminum dual plane intake, Edelbrock #5001 allowed. Open plenum
intake add 100lbs. Carburetor vacuum secondary only, Holley 600cfm maximum, EAMS Spec 1850 carburetor, no hp
carburetors, no double pumpers, no down leg boosters. All carburetors checked
with go-no-go gauges, 1" carburetor spacer allowed, headers allowed, No
Tri-Y headers. Any stock type electronic
ignition with stock appearing coil & module. No MSD boxes or spark
enhancing devices. Triple disc clutch allowed, stock
type transmissions only, No bert or brinn type
transmissions, automatics must have torque converter, no dump valves, jack
bolts, stock chassis, stock type rearend 9" ford allowed, no 4-bar
suspension, no spring loaded torque links, biscuit bar or solid bar OK, stock
steel bodies with stock type nose pieces, after market Five Star or Performance
body OK, body must be steel except for doors,
roof and hood (50lb penalty for any other aluminum body panels). No wedge type or late model style bodies, cars with these
style bodies must run Super Street. There will be a weight penalty for
unapproved bodies or moved to another class at tech inspector's discretion,
6" spoiler allowed, steel wheels, aluminum wheels add 100lbs, 11"
Spec racing tire or DOT street tires, No chemical treating of tires
allowed, weight 3200lb, GM Crate Engine P/N 88958602
permitted must have factory GM sealing bolts, EAMS, Crate Racin USA or Fastrak
seals with above carburetors 3100lbs.
Bomber: 362ci small block maximum, stock bore and stroke, .060
overbore permitted, stock stroke crank, stock length cast or forged steel
I-beam rods with 3/8 bolts or cap screws only,
flat top pistons only, hydraulic lifters and
camshaft, No 4-7 swap cams, lifters must be OEM diameter to make of engine, ex.
Chevy .842", Factory production cast iron heads. Vortec 062, 906, Engine Quest #CH350C & #CH350F, Racing Head
Service Vortec replacement #12402 & #12407
allowed. Vortec 062 cylinder heads permitted with following specs: 175cc intake
runner volume max, 64cc maximum exhaust runner volume. No bowtie, dart or angle
plug heads. Vortec heads may run aluminum dual plane intake, Edelbrock part#
7116 or 2116, or GM part# 12366573 (same as on 602 crate engine) only intakes
allowed with Vortec Heads, No porting or polishing heads, intake or carburetor,
GM stock valve size 1.94 intake and 1.5 exhaust maximum, steel valve retainers
& keepers only, stock rockers only, No roller or
roller tip rockers, screw in studs & guide plates allowed, any
cast iron production street intake (cast iron bowtie ok). Aluminum dual plane
intakes permitted to use are Edelbrock 2101, 2701, 5001 or 7101, Weiand 8120 or
8150, Summit Racing 226008, 226012 or 226014, all other aluminum intakes add
100lb, Carburetor vacuum secondary only, Holley
600cfm maximum, EAMS Spec 1850 carburetor, no hp
carburetors, no double pumpers, no down leg boosters. All carburetors checked
with go-no-go gauges, 1" carburetor
spacer allowed, headers allowed, No Tri-Y headers. Any stock type electronic ignition with stock
appearing coil & module. No MSD boxes or spark enhancing devices. Stock type single disc clutch only, No triple disc or couplers, fly wheel 14 lb. minimum,
stock type transmissions only, No bert or brinn type, automatics must have
torque converter No dump valves, stock suspension only, tubular upper a-arms add 50 lbs, stock mounted shocks and springs only, stock steering parts
only, jack bolts add 50 lbs, no panhard or pull bars, 9" Ford rearend
OK. No safety hubs, No wide 5 hubs, floater rearend add 50
lbs, stock steel bodies only, full steel firewall and interior floor pan mandatory, Any body without rocker panels
will be 100lb penalty, Any car with flat or raised rear deck will not be
allowed rear spoiler of any kind, Weight penalty for unapproved bodies or
moving to another class at tech inspector's discretion, 6" spoiler,
10" steel wheels maximum, No aluminum wheels, 8" width tire maximum,
No chemical treating of tires allowed, weight 3250lbs. 112" wheel base or
longer cars deduct 100lbs, GM 602 crate engine
allowed at 3200lbs must have factory GM seal bolts, EAMS, Crate Racin USA or Fastrak
seals.
Cruiser: 362ci small block maximum, no 400
engines or big blocks, stock stroke crank, stock length cast or forged steel
I-beam rods only, 4 valve relief flat top pistons. Hydraulic cam and
lifters, no 4-7 swap cams, lifters must be OEM diameter to make of engine, ex.
Chevy .842", factory production open chamber steel heads 70cc minimum
only. No aftermarket heads or Vortec heads, no porting or polishing heads,
intake or carburetor. Must have 1.94 intake and 1.5 exhaust valves, steel valve
retainers & keepers only, stock rockers only, no roller or roller tip
rockers. Cast iron low rise intake only, no bowtie intakes, Carburetor vacuum secondary only, Holley 600cfm maximum, EAMS
Spec 1850 carburetor, no hp carburetors, no double
pumpers, no down leg boosters. All carburetors checked with go-no-go gauges, 1" carburetor adapter
allowed. No quadrajets.
No headers, headers must run bomber. Stock cast
iron exhaust manifolds only. Any stock type electronic ignition with
stock appearing coil & module. No MSD boxes or spark enhancing devices.
Stock type single disc clutch only, no triple disc or couplers, fly wheel 14
lb. minimum. Stock type transmissions only, no bert or
brinn type, automatics must have torque converter, no dump valves. Stock
suspension only, rearend must match make of car, stock steering parts only,
factory steel bodies only, full stock firewalls and floor pans mandatory, must
have rocker panels, weight penalty for excessive hulling at tech director's
discretion. 8" steel wheels only, any DOT approved 8" street tire, No racing tread
patterns, ALL tires MUST be approved for highway use, Tires marked Not
Approved For Highway Use will not be allowed, No
chemical treating of tires allowed. Weight 3400lbs.
Wheel base less than 115" 3500lbs. No Camaros, Mustangs, or GT type cars.
Open Wheel
Modified: Tire Rule Hoosier G60 or
Goodyear G65 Only. UMP/IMCA Technical Rules. No engine
claiming.
